Cast Tec has its origins back in 1983 buying, selling and restoring original cast-iron fireplaces using the family 'dip and strip' business premises on Tyneside as a base.
As time moved on, the company realised to obtain enough supply to meet demand for cast-iron fireplaces, reproductions would have to be considered. This change in direction from refurbished antique to mass reproduction heralded the beginning of Cast Tec as a major supplier to the trade.
Limerick
The Limerick cast-iron mantel is available in matt black but is also available in a highlight polish finish.
Harton
The Harton cast-iron mantel is available in a highlight polish finish but is also available in matt black.
Corinthian
The Corinthian mantel is hand-crafted in the traditional way and manufactured in Italian Carrara pure marble (colouration tends to be white with grey fleck or veining).
The mantel displays beautiful acanthus leaf designs carved into the top of each leg.
Flat Victorian Limestone Mantel
The Flat Victorian mantel is manufactured in pure limestone from Turkey. The mantel design has been around for 150 years or so but its simple design allows it to suit modern contemporary settings also.
The Flat Victorian is also available in Carrara Italian pure marble, black granite and man-made micro marbles such as Mocha Beige and Polar White.
Brampton
The Brampton wooden mantel shown has been hand crafted in Solid Oak with a light oak stain applied. This mantel also may be available without a finish on request to allow for a bespoke finish to be applied.
Also available in Solid Pine with a Light Antique Pine finish.
Bamburgh
The Bamburgh is a beautiful traditional hand crafted mantelpiece manufactured in Solid Oak. This mantel is available with a light oak or a medium oak stain but is also available without a finish at a reduced cost to enable you to apply your own stain or lacquer.
A bespoke stained finish is also available but we would need a sample of the finish required.
